History of Political Economy, or HOPE, is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the history of economic thought. Published by Duke University Press, HOPE publishes four regular issues a year plus a supplemental issue that contains papers presented at a small, annual conference on a particular topic in the history of economics. HOPE is available in a traditional print form as well as online to e-subscribers through the eDuke Journals Scholarly Collection.
