Visit the Economists' Papers Archive
Duke houses perhaps the finest archives of the academic papers of economists in the world. To promote collegiality and contacts among historians of economics, scholars visiting the Economists' Papers Projectare urged to let a member of the Duke_HOPE_Group know the dates of your visit. Limited funds may be available to help to defray the travel expenses of young scholars visiting the Economists' Papers Project.
Long-Term Visits
The HOPE Group has benefitted in the past from many academic visits for a semester or more by scholars on sabbatical or other academic leave and holders of post-doctoral fellowships. (Some past visitors are listed on the People page.) It is sometimes possible to arrange for teaching opportunities that can supplement funding for visiting scholars. Departmental constraints dictate that each such visit must be worked out on a case-by-case basis. Scholars interested in arranging a long-term visit should contact a member of the Duke_HOPE_Group.
