Staff Information

The Department of Economics has 22 staff members who work full or part-time to serve the faculty and students at Duke. If you are looking to reach an individual, please visit the staff contact information area in the People section of our website.

Staff Service Projects

The staff coordinate various service projects throughout the year in which all faculty, staff and students can participate.

NCAA March Madness: Each spring, NCAA March Madness takes over the Department with a men's basketball bracket competition. In 2011, the more than $1,300 raised went to fund the building of a playground.

eCANomics: This past holiday season, the staff gathered canned goods and donations to help elderly residents of the nearby Morehead Hill Apartment complex celebrate the holidays. Sixty residents were given food for complete holiday meals, including small hams. More than ten staffers were involved in preparing and delivering the bags of food. View the eCANomics 2011 photo album on Facebook.
