Provides working knowledge of intern'l business finance. Study intern'l currency markets; behavior of managers of intern'l corporations. Emphasis on mechanics of foreign exchange market, reviewing tools used to hedge exchange rate risk. Building blocks of intern'l finance are constructed: interest rate parity, purchasing power parity and intern'l Fisher arbitrage equation. Intern'l management issues, such as transfer pricing, offshore banking, working capital management, intern'l M&A, business planning, and optimal intern'l portfolios, are addressed.
