How has the academic track system affected your education?

One or two years is a little short to study diverse Economics fields. Without academic track, it will be easy to lose way what to do during that period. Thanks to the track system, I can more focus on one field and upgrade my past experience and knowledge.

Outside of economics what courses have been most beneficial?

International Trade and Finance in Public Policy was good for me. Even though the content was not so deep, the professor made us join the class by preparing and presenting Current Issue report, summarizing a paper, and reading many related papers. I could contact many current issues and papers.

Of all the programs available why did you choose to come to Duke?

Except for the favorable climate and reasonable living cost, I like most the flexibility of its program. Once I select my track, I can focus on the field and experience different kinds of programs.
