Bio
Attila Ambrus joined the Duke faculty in the fall of 2011. He is a research economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Professor Ambrus received both his Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from Princeton in 2003 and a M.A. and B.A. from Budapest University of Economic Sciences in 1994. He spent the first eight years of his teaching career at Harvard University.

Research Description
Professor Ambrus’ research focuses on a wide range of subjects including game theory, experimental economics, microeconomic theory, industrial organization, political economics, development economics and economic history. He has received various grants from the National Science Foundation. His most recent work has been published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, Theoretical Economics, the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Economic Theory, and The American Economic Journal: Microeconomics.
