The EcoTeach will consider funding requests from undergraduates who need to purchase data sets or specialized software in order to conduct research as part of the honors program. Students seeking to present research may also request support with travel and conference registration fees. Students must first apply for support from Trinity's Undergraduate Research Support Program which gives individual grants of up to $350. EcoTeach considers applications on Tuesdays at noon. Submit a Funding Request Form to 138 SocSci.
Students who are beginning to research an economic topic may find the entries in the International Encyclopedia of the Social and Behavioral Sciences helpful. See an electronic index to and abstracts from the International Encyclopedia. Other references works that may be useful are The New Palgrave: A Dictionary of Economics; TheMcGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Economics; and the Survey of Social Science:Economic Series. All are in the university library.
