Warren Buffett estimates that he spends 80% of his day reading — scouring newspapers, magazines, annual reports, and a broad array of books. If one of the greatest investors in history reads so much, then it’s probably a good idea for you to find time to read as well! DFE now offers a book club for undergraduates from all class years and levels of familiarity with the financial markets.
Led by DFE Lecturing Fellow Lee Reiners and Instructor Steve Columbaro, the book club meets once a semester to discuss a new book selection each time. Since fall 2023, students have enjoyed reading and discussing The Bond King: The Algebra of Wealth: A Simple Formula for Financial Security by Scott Galloway, and Howard Marks' The Most Important Thing: Uncommon Sense for the Thoughtful Investor.
Fall 2025
