NCAA Bracket Competition

Can you outsmart your professors? Want to support a great cause?

Duke Economics' annual NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament bracket competition is back! Put your prediction skills to the test as you determine which college men's basketball teams will make it to the NCAA Championship. See if you can outplay your fellow economics majors, classmates — even the department chair! By joining our contest, you'll also help support this year's charity, the Eno River Association, as chosen by our last Marchinal Madness winner, Filip Klein.

Established in 1966, the Eno River Association is an accredited land trust and conservation nonprofit driven by a mission to conserve and protect the natural, historical, and cultural resources of the Eno River Basin.

Our vision is that the natural and human communities within the Eno River basin thrive and are resilient. The Eno River provides for the physical and spiritual health of all. The residents of the river basin act and advocate for conservation of natural, historical, and cultural resources, for their intrinsic values and their ability to fulfill our needs and enrich our lives.

Participate and You Could:

  • Win bragging rights;
  • Claim a trophy as your own for the next year (and some special swag from the Eno River Association);
  • Experience warm fuzzies by knowing you donated to a wonderful cause; and,
  • Select the charity to support next year!
This contest is open to faculty, staff, and students in the Department of Economics.  Sign up by Thursday, 3/21, at 12:00 PM.
