How has being an Economics graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"Duke econ is competitive program with a focus on analytics, strongly resembling the practical world."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Economics programs?

"Start your career in programs that offer training and practical skillsets, but don't be afraid to separate from the pack once you understand the principles. Lots of your peers from Duke and other top schools will pursue well defined and lucrative tracks, but a much smaller subset will make it to the top. If you look left and look right and do not see yourself as differentiated from your peers, go find an area where you can distinguish yourself. If you went to Duke and have good professional training, you will be able to add value, excel, and stand out and succeed in countless industries."
