What advice would you give students in Duke's Economics programs?
"After doing the basics (macro, micro, monetary) spend more time on economics courses that explore historical, social and political drivers of the economy. Econometrics and dynamic general equilibrium models may be useful in academia or at the Fed, but they do not prepare one for leadership roles in the real world."
