As part of the Allen Starling Johnson, Jr. Distinguished Lecturer Series, Professor Komlos will give a talk on "Economics and Human Biology: Why are Americans shorter and fatter?".
Thursday, October 28th at 4:00 pm in Soc Sci RM 111
Professor Komlos is an internationally recognized Professor of Economics and Chair of the Institute of Economic History at the University of Munich. He is credited with the emergence of "anthropometric history" and the economic history of human physical stature.
