Karim Foda, who graduated in 2007 from the Master’s Program in Economics, works as a senior research assistant at the Brookings Institution.
His joint work with Eswar Prasad on the global economic recovery was recently featured on the policy portal Vox, which promotes research-based policy analysis and commentary by leading scholars.
“A silver lining lurks behind the dark clouds: Snapshot from the Brookings-FT TIGER” offers the researchers’ perspective on the economic recovery and introduces a new index for the world economy created by Brookings and the Financial Times.
A nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington, DC, Brookings provides research which is often cited by legislators across the political spectrum.
