TCRDC Holds Third Annual Conference and Opens New Center

19 October 2010 12:00AM

The Triangle Census Research Data Center (TCRDC) Conference held this week explores social sciences research opportunities with the use of confidential microdata collected by the U.S. Census Bureau and other government agencies.

The conference also celebrates the opening of a second center at RTI International, the Research Triangle Park nonprofit.

The new center is a highly secure, 2,000-square-foot workspace for researchers with RTI, Duke and the UNC system, all of whom are partners in the venture.

To celebrate the opening, U.S. Census Bureau Director Robert Groves will speak at the new center on Tuesday at noon.

Read the story on the new center in the News & Observer.
