"Professionally, it provided a critical thinking skills, the ability to understand financials and numbers and using them to make decisions. Within the major, I also took some management courses to understand how employees are motivated. Personally, the economics major helped me better understand the world around me, how people make decisions, how government activity impacts the economy, etc"
