How has being an Economics graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"Transitioned from a legal career to a General Counsel position to Chief Financial Officer. Economics, and an undergraduate degree in Accounting helped me obtain the position. Along the way, I have had good utilization of several Duke Economics classes including game theory and a class on portfolio management."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Economics programs? 

"Expose yourself to many areas of economics from the theoretical to the practical."
