How has being an Economics graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"1) Accreditation and Confidence - Knowing that you are able to get through a rigorous program at Duke gives you the confidence that you have what it takes to tackle any problem or challenge life throws at you - Important to balance this with humility and remain eager to be a life long learner 2) Way of Thinking - Thinking systematically, structurally, and analytically is a core skillset that will help in any profession 3) Work Ethic - Having the courage and energy to work hard and having the discipline to follow through and finish is essential."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Economics programs?

"1) Make full use of all the resources & network that Duke provides 2) Time goes by faster than you think - so make sure you don't miss the opportunity to leverage what Duke has to offer 3) Find your why (the earlier in your life the better) and create a board of advisors/mentors who can help you fulfill your life purpose."
