How has being an Economics graduate from Duke helped shape you personally and/or professionally?

"Helped me reevaluate concepts and ideas, taught me about accomplishing long-term goals, provided analytical skills and tools, taught me to adjust to new conditions. Also, the Duke brand is very strong and the whole department environment (professors and students) is the most brilliant I've experienced."

What advice would you give students in Duke's Economics programs? 

"Receive early project feedback from professors and classmates, present to internal seminars early even for preliminary projects, fail early in projects, don't underestimate data work, one finished/submitted project is better than 10 work-in-progress, it's a marathon - not a sprint."
