1995 Major: Economics (Summa Cum Laude), Economics and History
"I absolutely loved my time at Duke, and especially my Economics classes. I learned a great deal from the incredible Duke Economics faculty, and a number of the classes I took ultimately led me to both my honors thesis, as well as my Fulbright Scholarship in Economics where I studied and worked directly on East German privatization and the support of the new and burgeoning East German economy after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
"Dig in and engage. The faculty is second to none, and I found that they would take a personal interest in students who sought out their guidance. Challenge yourself and take graduate level courses if you can - those small group learning experiences are unparalleled."
