Honors Seminar

ECON 495S

Honors seminars are two semesters of guided research on a student-selected and developed topics using economics research tools and techniques. 495/496 can be taken in either order. A thesis is planned, researched, drafted, and revised over two semesters. Includes iterative presentations and writing assignments. First of two-semester sequence requires completion of a research proposal culminating in a substantive research project. Second of two-semester sequence requires the completion of a substantive research project suitable for submission as honors thesis. Open to juniors and seniors.

Prerequisite: Economics 201D and 210D and (Economics 204D or 208D)
