Topics generally include international transmission of business cycles, global imbalances and external adjustment, international asset pricing and financial intermediation, the international monetary system, global financial cycle, determination of nominal and real exchange rates, exchange rate pass-through and invoicing, monetary and fiscal policy in the open economy, alternative exchange rate arrangements, and sovereign debt.
