Private Equity Buyouts

Students work in small teams to identify an LBO target via an investment screen. Teams conduct the investment analysis and due diligence based on publicly available information. This includes: building LBO model, sources and uses of funds, capitalization table, and justification of inputs. Course content provided both by the instructor and guest speakers, homework assignments and student presentations based on the deliverables. The majority of this course involves team-based assignments with a few individual assignments.
