New & Noteworthy: Faculty-Student Research in January NBER Digest

Each month, the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) selects a handful of working papers to feature in its Digest. Professional journalists are assigned to summarize the papers for a non-technical audience. The research being done by Duke Economics Professor Christopher Timmins, Lala Ma (Ph.D. '14) of the University of Kentucky, and Kevin Haninger of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been highlighted in the January issue of the publication.
