Duke Team Wins $10,000 in Atlanta Hedge Fund Challenge

04 April 2014 4:52PM On March 27, 2014, three Duke students’ alternative investment idea paid off big, $10,000 big. Tim Evans (’14), Dylan Gamret (’14), and Wes Koorbusch (’15) won the Atlanta Hedge Fund Challenge by presenting the idea of buying out student loans in exchange for a percentage of their future earnings.  Created by investment funds, the Atlanta Hedge Fund Challenge offers a $10,000 scholarship prize.
